Manga vs. Anime

Manga is the Japanese word for "comics" overly used by western society as a way of mostly referring to kick ass comics. Maybe I was only talking about myself in that last comment, but to be frank the people at Shonen Jump have kept me up to date with my favorite story lines. The library of manga issues is enormous, endless stock piles of pages telling millions of different stories. The pages can be vivid but often times it can be without any real life. Black and white pages are good for reading print not depicting some of the most amazing fight sequences. I am not a huge fan of Manga, but that doesn't mean I won't spend hours on end reading them when I just gotta know what is happening during my favorite anime series.

Anime is just short for Japanese Animation. There are stockpiles of millions of different manga stories that are adapted into new anime every day. To the right is one of my personal favorites(Naruto).Anime can range from comedy to action, and it can be suitable for a large array of ages. I am an addict to anime of depth in story as well as entertaining fight sequences. I am not a huge fan of manga, but I have caught myself time and time again peaking because of an anime cliff hanger. Watching a fight is so much better then reading. Do you honestly think so many people would have liked Avatar if it were just a book? No offense James Cameron, I also barely liked that movie. But I digress!! Which do you prefer ShiNigglers?
