Batman Arkham City Costumes

If there wasn't enough to be excited about when it comes to the upcoming Batman Arkham City title, they just dropped an amazing bomb on us. The images above are just fan made, but they give us a glimpse of what we get to use. Here is a breakdown of what is being offered and where you can get it. First up is the Batman Beyond skin (Terry Mcginnis...we hope) will be offered if you pre-order from GameStop. The big monster to his right is the Batman from the Dark Knight Returns continuum and it will be offered if you purchase the Arkham City collectors edition. Earth-1 Batman is the more modern looking version next to him and he can be found if you purchase the game at MightyApe. I am going to explain him a little more because its actually interesting his story. DC is rebooting the stories of the DC Universe with the Earth-1 series, much like the Marvel Universe has done with Ultimate Marvel. Rebooting has been much of a problem for DC, especially after the whole Superman punched a whole through space and time, and that caused everything to change (so ridiculous!). I digress, the little blue bomber up next is the 1970 version of batman, this was before DC decided to put him in his black outfit. I guess blue makes him look a bit less scary, you can get him if you pre-order from Toys R Us or ShopTo.net. All of you have to recognize the next skin, he is the one a lot of grew up watching on the Batman Animated Series. If you want to wear him around you just have to purchase the game from MightyApe. The last one shown on the image is the pre-set skin for the game when purchased anywhere. The last skin recently announced isn't even going to be Batman, it will be Robin, not in a Robin costume. After the recent timeline shift Tim Drake was revived and took up the mantle of the Red Robin, image provided below.  All of the skins will eventually be downloadable, but if you want first dibs just go where I told you!

Bonus News: Also recently announced was that Robin will be playable in mini-games, just as the Joker did in the previous title. It will be available if you pre-order the game from Best Buy and later as a DLC. Here is what he will look like.
