Spider-Man Photos!
What would the world be like if I didn't provide you with these amazing shots of the Amazing Spider-Man. If you want to check out the official site here you go: http://theamazingspiderman.com/. My initial comments about the photos are 1. Emma Stone looks hot , 2. The costume doesn't look that bad when you squint your eyes and tilt your head sideways, and 3. EMMA STONE LOOKS HOT!

South Park RPG
This is not a JOKE! This is in fact very true and should be coming out sometime next year for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. THQ just announced that "South Park: The Game" will be a full-scale RPG developed by Obsidian. For those of you that don't know Obsidian developed Fallout: New Vegas. To make things even more amazing the South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will write the script and provide all the voice acting for characters.
So far the only plot point that has been disclosed is that the gamers will be playing as the new kid in South Park and it is your job to make friends and defend the town from any and all threats. I am just excited about the fact that I can kill Kenny once a day. Enjoy the video montage of the many deaths of one of our most beloved characters.

The Lizard Concept Art
Eh.....er....ummmm, well at least it has claws. I guess the original Spider-Man cartoon show left a lasting image of a giant lizard in a lab coat. This is most likely an earlier version of the Mini-Godzilla, so expect to see a much bulkier version of him in the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man" film. I am all for making him look menacing and scary, which he would have to me if he didn't look like the Goombas from the Super Mario Bros film (1993) that tanked.[Look below for image] As an avid fan of the wall crawler I am excited for this film, but some of the designs they have come up with are sub par. Spider-man's costume looks like a weird bug-eyed candy striper, and now the lizard is a failed Goomba from a film that many people try to forget. I am sure the film will be amazing...no pun intended of course! :)

Herman The Monster
I have been trying to keep this blog as unpolitical as possible but it is obvious that Mr. Cain won't stay out of the spotlight! What? You didn't hear?! I won't even bring up the countless allegations that were previously brought up about him, just the most recent one. A little gem by the name of Ginger White claims that she had a 13-year affair with the republican's best hope for beating Obama. Of course Mr. Cain denies everything, but denying can only get you so far sir. It seems that Ms. White has 61 recorded calls or text messages from his "private phone" to prove she isn't lying. Herman Cain was a fad for a short time and the people's patience is running quite thin. Plenty of politicians have had scandals and a couple of things leak out, but this has become a tsunami of epic proportions. His score on the polls is dropping and people are caring less about his policy and more about the next woman accusing him of "Who knows what." Mr. Cain, you're a man first and it is expected for you to be flawed, if it is true just admit it and keep going strong with your policies. Below are some quotes from the Hermanator himself. Enjoy Shinigglers!

Black Friday Violence
Lets be honest, sometimes the best part of black Friday is watching the crazies run rampant throughout the store. Or is it just me, all well. I was sorely disappointed when I didn't get to see people fight over the last PS3 on sale, but luckily I am an avid internet searcher. Last Night/ This Morning a woman sprayed a couple of shoppers with pepper spray, to make sure she got the last Xbox 360. Obviously this isn't funny, and the woman deserves to be caught and pay for the injuries she caused. I am all for her keeping the Xbox though, she earned it (SPOILS OF WAR!!).

Robots Playing Ping Pong
I have said it once and I will say it again, we are slowly moving towards the days depicted by the "Terminator." Every couple of months the advancement of robots increase and we get one step closer to being enslaved by them. Recently students at China's Zhejiang University decided to demonstrate their robots (Wu and Kong) as they played a leisurely game of table tennis. The robots stand 5.2 feet tall and weigh about 120 pounds, their eyes are cameras that feed real-time images at 120 frames per second. So far they have reached up to 176 strokes back and forth. Why don't people understand that Skynet don't play!!!

Sylar and Spock Are Both Gay!!!
If you watched the series Heroes (Best show ever, minus the last season UGH) you know that Sylar was a serial killer that isn't afraid to lurk in the shadows or come out of a closet to get his victims. In the same fashion as the character he portrayed Zachary Quinto has taken method acting to a whole new level, he decided to "Come out of the closet" himself recently. No I don't mean he went on a rampage and took advantage of some helpless victim, rather he prefers willing males apparently. (Oh I could go on and on with this) Because of the recent homosexual suicides Mr. Quinto decided to come out in a very smooth fashion, remarking to a comment saying "As a gay man". Honestly I don't care what actors are gay or not, as long as they do an amazing job on-screen. I still think NPH is amazing, although his coming out caught me surprise (NPH your still the MAN!!!!). What do you think?

I Am Alive to be released this WINTER!!
My last post stated that I am Alive would probably be released sometime next year. First general rule of the business, don't make a guess no matter how educated and expect to be right all the time. It was announced today by Ubisoft Shanghai that the game is set to release this winter. 5 years in the making and we finally get to play it!! The game will be a digital download for X-box live and Playstation Network. No idea why they decided to go that route as opposed to full out retail, but who cares!!! An official gameplay trailer was released and it has me not asking any questions other then the exact date I should shut out the rest of the world and enjoy! (Above is the original trailer for the game, notice any differences?)

"I Am Alive" isn't quite dead yet
A few years ago (2008 to be exact) I remember reading a magazine with a full spread on an upcoming game called "I Am Alive." The premise of the game was that you would be in control of a man surviving a huge Earthquake and his struggle for survival. He would find himself fighting for items like a bottle of water for rations, as well as a flashlight to survive at night. New information on the plot leaked that he is actually on the hunt for his family, talk about pulling at the heart strings!
The United States' Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has been meeting to discuss the rating the game will receive. Drum roll please ::Plays Drums!:: The game should be receiving an M-for-Mature rating for "Blood, Intense Violence, Sexual Themes, Strong Language." Honestly it's hard to read that and not think to yourself SWEEEET. Some of the reasons for the M rating is because of the melee combat which will include "finishing moves" like; Throat-slashing, impaling, and pistol-whipping. Why pistol-whip when you can shoot... guess the game will have limited bullets. Sadly I don't have a release date just yet, but with them rolling out with the rating you should be expecting it sometime late next year!

Full Catwoman Suit Revealed
So after a lot of backlash from the previously leaked Catwoman photos, I wonder how much of an improvement this really is. You have to make these things look realistic, I could see her there and know what she looks like when the mask comes off. I always thought that was the reason recent variations of catwoman have had masks closer to that of Batman. This still may be a good move for them because at the end of the day she is looking too damn good, or should I say prrrrrfect (Eartha Kitt Style). But I am not going to bore you with my analysis, here are the pictures...

Oh China, What Will You Steal Next?!
September 1st will not only be remembered as the day Nazi Germany invaded Poland and began World War II. No September 1st will be remembered for another important event in history! It will be remembered as the day China decided to open up an "Angry Birds" Theme Park, without consulting the people that own it. The theme parked opened too a large audience, giving the patrons the chance to take turns shooting the birds a pig balloon. Official correspondence states that it is a way to relieve stress for the masses that come to the park. Rovio, the game's Finnish developer, is willing to work out a partnership especially since the park has already been established. This is not the first time China has dealt with dirty dealings, does anyone remember the little mishap with the fake iPhone store...?

Why Anime Sometimes Sucks!!!
I made a post last month about the differences between Anime and Manga. At that time I felt a need to let people know that there are noticeable differences within the two art forms. Now I want to let you all know that when a Manga becomes translated to the Anime domain, well they have a tendency of screwing things up. So lets go through some of these Manga to Anime screw-ups from my first hand experience.
Fullmetal Alchemist is the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric that are far from ordinary due to the fact that they are extremely gifted in alchemy. Their skills in alchemy also leads to the major plot point of the story, after their mother's passing they decide to bring her back with the use of alchemy. Their attempt at resurrection causes a terrible tragedy, at the wake of the process Edward loses his arm and his leg while Alphonse loses his entire body. They both have to make due with artificial replacements of what they lost, and they venture to find a way to get it back by use of the same thing that took it from them, ALCHEMY. The timeline is set around the 1940s in an alternate world where rather then science and technology being the practice of growth, alchemy has grown to be the main usage. As far as story line it the Anime was amazing, up until the point where the story got weird with the inclusion of a deviated plot.
Anime: The main protagonist ended up being "The Mother", a woman from a very distance past that uses alchemy in a way to keep herself youthful and alive. Her henchmen are the Homunculus, beings created from failed attempts by Alchemist to bring back their loved ones. The story starts becoming weird as characters from the manga aren't introduced and characters are just created from thin air. Not to mention the ending of the anime had a very sad ending that the film that followed didn't do a great job of fixing.
Manga: The manga was the original content that the Anime pulled from and it was simply perfect. The villains introduced were sometimes just misunderstood and their wasn't some weird illegitimate 3rd Elric brother (Watch the anime to get what I am talking about). The main protagonist was "The Father" (aren't they smooth with the sex change) and his henchmen were also the Homunculus. In the original variation the Homunculus were created by The Father and not some failed experiment by random Alchemist. The characters that the anime left out were just amazing, and it leaves you wondering what idiot said we could do without them? I am not going to ruin major plot points for you but this is definitely a story better read, or so one would think.
Anime (Part Deux): I guess Funimation and Aniplex realized how upset fans were with the changes that were made, that they decided to give the Anime version another shot. This time the Anime follows the Manga in exact detail with no shifts and added bells and whistles. Watch or read it is up to you, but the name of the Re-Do is FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD. I like to call it the best thing ever made for short...eh not really short is it, whatever.
I will make another post about 2 other anime later in the day.....no hints, just stay posted!

Avengers Footage Leak Date!!!
The upcoming Marvel Avengers film will have a huge reveal of some footage at the New York Comic Con. The footage will debut on October 15th 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the IGN theater. I am hoping we finally get to see another villain besides Loki. Nothing against Loki, but he got his ass handed to him by Thor! I got my fingers crossed that we see the Skrulls in full effect, maybe even the Super Skrull (if they don't make him cheesy). Now obviously a lot of people won't be able to attend, but the footage will leak on the web so I will keep my eyes and ears open to be able to share it. With a huge star filled cast the Avengers film opens in theaters on May 4 2012.

Free-to-Play Feature in DC Universe Online
The brilliant minds at Sony Online Entertainment have decided to give players the option between 3 different access levels on the current DC Universe Online MMO game. The idea is to give the players an option between 3 different subscription levels. The have released an official statement stating that. "When we launched DC Universe Online, we introduced a very different brand of massive online game driven by fast action combat to PC and PS3 gamers and wit that, we discovered a new type of online gamer. We've listened to our community, and we've determined that the free-to-play model is the best fit for DC Universe Online," saind John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment.
Lets be serious, you offer a service for free and people are going to be all over it! The one thing about Sony is that they won't try and force a subscription charge down your throat if they don't have to. Sorry X-Box, I never liked X-Box Live, but you guys are still the most secure....as far as we know now!! Well here is an official breakdown of the three subscription levels if your feeling antsy to really know!
Free: New players will now have access to the current gameplay in DC Universe Online (including Gotham City, Metropolis, and all current raids and alerts), with the ability to create two characters, join a league and many other benefits. Free level players will be able to purchase downloadable game packs/updates, additional character slots, powers and more through microtransactions.
Premium: Any player who has spent at least $5 USD (including former paid subscribers and new players who have purchased $5 of in-game items) will qualify for the Premium access level. Premium level players will have more benefits available to them than the Free level player, including additional character slots, additional inventory slots, and higher cash limits.
Downloadable adventure packs, additional character slots, and more can be purchased in-game.
Legendary: Maximum features and benefits are included at this level. Loaded with enhanced additional features, Legendary access will be available for a $14.99 USD monthly fee and includes all DLC packs at no cost, more than 15 character slots, more than 80 inventory slots, the ability to form unrestricted-sized leagues, and many other benefits.
Alright cue the amazing trailer for the game!
If you don't have it, I suggest you get it...I mean its a free subscription offer!! Oh and for those of you that think the GAME itself is free....your beyond cheap, ahaha sorry you still have to pay for it ::insert sad face::

Marvel Has Released A Complete Guide To The New Spidey!!
No one is a bigger Spidey fan then yours truly....this is a statement said by many fanboys of their favorite superhero. I don't ever make statements such as these because I know there is someone out there sitting in a room with mountains of Spidey comics, and I indeed salute you sir! Well I always have my ears to the rugged streets of the World Wide Web for our favorite wall-crawler and I ran across this page on marvel.com
So if you have missed out on what is supposed to be the next controversial step made by Marvel go ahead and follow this link to get there: New Spidey. I already said my views on the change, but because I like to hear myself talk, here it is again. I personally think this is an advertising tool for Marvel to pull a wider and more diverse array of minorities to the comic world. Changing up the roster by changing our favorite characters is not the proper route (We all know spidey will somehow be resurrected and miles will be out the job!). Create new superheroes that relate more to the dynamics of society and the people you want to draw in, push the limits of what you can do in your comics to draw in that crowd you want. I don't mean throw a random minority in the mix as a background character, I mean it is about time to create a brand new all-star cast. Times are changing and people want something new, btw PRINT IS DEAD so my advice for Marvel is to follow the same suite as DC and expand the digital comics. Okay my rant is done, what do you all think.

Polar Bears Hate Women Who Poo Outside!!!
Recently a woman was attacked by a polar bear while relieving herself outside. I have a couple of guesses on why the woman was attacked. 1) The polar bear escaped from the zoo and after years of being sh*tted on, enough was enough when it saw this woman releasing her poo on a group of defenseless ants. 2) The bear is an Animorph and it hates that woman. 3)The bear had a taste of flesh and the woman was an easy target. 4)The Bear hates ugly squatters! HA Enough of that, enjoy the SMH of the week ShiNigglers!

Print Beware The Digital Age!!
Times are changing, and print media is taking a major hit because of it. Newspapers, Magazines, Books, Comics are slowly becoming relics of the past generation. It is not because society has lost the ability to read in some weird twist of fate. No, it is because recent generations are actively using computers and electronic devices. I saw a 3 year old that was able to use an Ipad himself to watch an episode of Spongebob Squarepants. Sales in print are dwindling and it is just fighting to survive at this point. Items like Tablets, eReaders, Laptops, and even Cell Phones have become the tools of modern society. It is a very rare sight to meet a person that does not know how to interact with these items.
In a recent effort to go along with the changes, DC is making a drastic change for its younger audience. Their new shift will be referred to as day-and-date digital comics. Comics are known for having a title made for the times, for example there was the ;Golden Age of comics (1938-1950), Silver Age of comics (1950-1970), Bronze Age of comics (1970-1985), Modern Age of comics (1985-Present). I really want to dub the next age as "The Digital Age of comics." I mean come on you know it is going to be the future!!!
The concept of Digital Comics is not something brand new, but the widespread effort from DC is a big push towards moving forward. They are planning to increase the content provided as well as the number of titles converted to digital format. If you like the feel of paper through your fingers don't boycott DC just yet, the shift is just going to be an added change to how DC works. So while your rushing to the stands to pick up the latest issue of Green Lantern #1, I will be uploading it onto my Android phone while baking a Red Velvet Cake! HA
If you want to check out more information on the App, or if you just want to download it now go to these websites: DCcomics.com or Comixology.com. So are you excited by the change, or does it seem like a bad idea to you?!

One Piece Dynasty!
So a teaser site was launched by Namco Bandai about their upcoming partnership with a rival publisher Tecmo Koei. Before you go searching for the website I will be the first to let you know that it is down, but not before they released the reason for the website. The name of the project is One Piece: Kaizoku Musou. ShiNiggles what does that mean?!
I am glad you asked that question! So basically One Piece: Kaizoku Musou will be the combination of Namco Bandai's One Piece franchise and Tecmo Koei's Sengoku Musou games. Now when I first read this I was sitting there talking to myself asking WTF is Sengoku Musou, well we know it on this side of the world as Dynasty Warriors. I am a fan of both franchises, although the Dynasty Warrior games have been pretty much the same the past couple of years. It is extremely repetitive!!! That doesn't mean me and my brother wouldn't sit there for hours on end playing it over and over again, building up our generals. No information just yet on when the game will be released, but I am actually excited for the North America release.
Hahaha how awesome would it be to have Luffy square off against Lu Bu!!!! EPIC!!!!!

Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia Interviews
You have to appreciate the minds at UbiWorkshop for their recent endeavor. The Assassin's Creed franchise is filled with a large array of information because of it's historical alignment. I have had a hard time keeping track of all the information they throw at you, not to mention the constant date changes. The Encyclopedia is set to be 256 pages and it covers all the characters, organizations, and stories through the AC cannon. My suggestion to all of you is to not even think about purchasing this until after you have played through Revelations (It contains that too).
The encyclopedia is set for a mid-November release date and the price is set at a cool $34.95, but if you pre-order it on the website it will be $29.95. Check out the video below.

Nathan Drake Doesn't Go Down Easy!
I think I am one of the many people that have Uncharted 3 on pre-order, because the franchise is just that damn good. I have constantly been seeing post about this cargo plane scene, and have been avoiding posting anything about it because I am not one to over saturate. When I actually watched the video clip, it was just tooooo good to ignore. So without further or due here is Nathan Drake kicking some ass.

Close-Up Shots of the New Man of Steel!
A lot of people were complaining about the fact that the red underwear is no where to be seen. In actuality this would not be a drastic change for DC comics because essentially it is a been there done that scenario. During the Superman 52 series, Superman traded in his red undies for a red belt. It is not uncommon for superheroes to lose the underwear fashion when brought into live action roles. Batman was the first to lose his on the DC side, and Superman is just following suit. (Get it!? Because he changed suit designs...HAHA I slay me!) Let me know what you think!
