Assassin's Creed 5

I almost created this post with the title Assassin's Creed 4 until I remembered Revelations would be 4th in the franchise. I remember when I thought Brotherhood was just a DLC, what a stupid move that was. For whoever is reading this I apologize for going off on a super tangent. It was announced today by Ubisoft that there will be another Assassin's Creed installment set for a 2012 release. I hope your excited.....how about now?....NO?!...HOW ABOUT NOW?! Your right, we haven't even played Revelations yet! So here goes a light whoo-hoo for the 2012 release and a hardy hell yeah for Revelations being released in a week!!

Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia Interviews

You have to appreciate the minds at UbiWorkshop for their recent endeavor. The Assassin's Creed franchise is filled with a large array of information because of it's historical alignment. I have had a hard time keeping track of all the information they throw at you, not to mention the constant date changes. The Encyclopedia is set to be 256 pages and it covers all the characters, organizations, and stories through the AC cannon. My suggestion to all of you is to not even think about purchasing this until after you have played through Revelations (It contains that too).

The encyclopedia is set for a mid-November release date and the price is set at a cool $34.95, but if you pre-order it on the website it will be $29.95. Check out the video below.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Altair & Ezio Gameplay & Commentary

I am beyond late when it comes to catching up on the Assassin's Creed game series. I am on the last mission of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood as we speak. Don't freight, I already have Revelations pre-ordered and will be enjoying it with everyone else as well. The footage below is of not one, but two missions of the game, from start to finish. In the newest installment Ezio is finds himself re-living important moments in the life of Altair. So now in turn that should mean that Desmond is re-living Ezio's life who is re-living Altair's life which should mean Desmond is getting double the work done in half the time. Confused?! Yeah you should be. This new installment shows some new mechanics, like the ability to not only be able to use bombs, but create them as well. I just hope they keep the Assassin's recruit on standby like Brotherhood, I felt like a true boss sending them in to do my dirty work. Either way I am excited to see how the story ends, the one thing I love about a great series is an epic ending.
