Some of you may or may not know this, but there is a live-action Captain Planet film in the works. Will it be edgier with more grit, I have no idea! What I do know is that the people at Funny or Die decided to take advantage of this recent news and put their own all-star cast for the roles. Don Cheadle is Captain Planet, along with Brenda Song (Preggers!), William Moseley, and Gillian Jacobs playing the Planeteers. I couldn't stop laughing, "Captain Planet Mother Fucka!"

Making The Smart Phone Even Smarter!!!
The creative minds at Layar had already created a augmented-reality browser, but now they have decided to add a visual search to its features. All you have to do is point your phone's camera at an object in the real world and a specific digital activity will occur.
Your probably asking yourself what is a specific digital activity? Well ShiNigglers I will be glad to explain this phenomenon in better detail so you don't leave here confused. If you were to point your phone at a pair of your friend's new shoes, and a buy button may pop up. If your looking at some historic monument and might want some more information just point your phone at it and a video will start to play. In the video below you see a person reading a magazine and he uses the program to on the article, giving him the option to share it on social media.
Layar's augmented-reality browser will be available within the upcoming months for both iPhone and Android phones. If you don't have either, then you don't have a smart phone; NO BlackBerrys don't count.

Avengers New New Concept Art
The newest concept art for the upcoming Avengers film. If you remember from my previous post I complained a little about how Hawkeye wasn't wearing a mask. I guess they heard my complaints and decided to put some shades on him to protect his identity as a shield agent. There was a little show called Smallville that went the same exact route with the Green Arrow.... Deja Vu to its fullest. At least in Smallville the Green Arrow would sometimes wear a hood, all well enough with my ranting, check out the picture and let me know what you think.
Extra: Also pay attention to the new Hulk look....Does he look Hulkier or just plain older from the last incarnation?
Avengers Assemble!!!
Does this look familiar? Guess Marvel thought the mask would be lame on Hawkeye and yet Captain America didn't change much.

The Force is Strong with George Lucas'......Daughter!?
There hasn't been word from George Lucas himself, but that hasn't stopped his daughter from attempting to use the iconic theme song of the franchise. Powerhouse was planning on using the song as her walk in music, but changed her mind last minute. In the interview below she talks about her upcoming matches.
Tekken Blood Vengeance 3D Trailer
I am a bit late on this, and I take full responsibility for it. I was watching an anime earlier today and the trailer for this new Tekken film came up. I think what got me the most excited is that the screenplay for the film was done by the same people that brought us Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop. Watching this trailer brought the same chills to my spine, much like Final Fantasy Advent Children did a few years ago. Enjoy the Trailer, and the bear we all know and love...KUMA!

Final Fantasy XIII-2: Narrated Trailer
I am possibly one of the hugest Final Fantasy fans out there, you know minus the actual MMO version. I don't know what they were thinking with that! If they offered it free maybe I would give it a shot, but you don't come out with something like that and off the bat start charging an arm and a leg! But I digress, a narrated trailer was released for Final Fantasy XIII-2 with producers Kitase Yoshinori and Toiriyama Motomu letting us know some of the new features we should be excited about. I honestly loved the Final Fantasy XIII, I wasn't much of a fan for the story and the fact that everything was linear; but the gameplay, artistic design, and soundtrack was simply amazing. Okay well from what I just said, I actually really enjoyed the game, and hopefully they fix the problems the previous one had. Well I talked enough, check out the video for yourself (If your not into subs, this isn't for you).

Steve Jobs Out The Job?!
To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:
I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
Steve
